Re-Pete is a Rare Sprite in Fortnite Treasure Hunters, the season that began on Sunday, November 1, 2026 with update v43.00 on Crossbones Isle. It is a combat Sprite, and it has been collectable since launch day.
Its ability, in Epic’s words: “Faster reloads with a chance to refund ammo.” The live Sprite directory adds the leveling detail: Re-Pete increases your reload speed, gives reloading a chance to refund ammo, and both effects improve each time it levels. So there are two parts. The reload speed boost is constant whenever you reload, while the ammo refund is a chance, not a guarantee.
How to Find and Collect Re-Pete
Re-Pete has been live since November 1. Neither Epic nor the directory lists a spawn area for it, and no summon cost has been published, so this page does not name a place to land. Lil’ Flacko, dropped by A$AP Rocky on Captain’s Day, is the only Treasure Hunters Sprite with a documented source so far.
No drop rates are published for this season; the directory’s 0% labels are placeholders. Epic’s general Sprite-hunting tools still apply. A Wanted Poster, once torn down, becomes a Sprite Treasure Map leading to a buried Sprite Chest. Mastery Monday, every Monday from 9 AM ET, brings 2x Sprite XP, 2x Sprite Dust, and more Sprite Chests and Wanted Posters. Epic does not say any of these favor Re-Pete, so think of them as extra rolls rather than a Re-Pete route.
Re-Pete Variants: Normal, Fortune and Cursed
Re-Pete has three forms. Normal and Fortune are live. Epic describes the Fortune bonus in four words: “Reveals nearby Chests.” Fortune Re-Pete keeps the reload and refund ability and layers the Chest reveal on top, which suits a Sprite that rewards keeping your weapons topped up. In datamines and icon files this line is called “Jeweled”, with a red, gem-encrusted look, so you may see it searched as Jeweled Re-Pete.
Cursed Re-Pete is not out yet. Epic says Cursed arrives on November 7 and describes it this way: “Increases your chance of finding rare Sprite variants, but water damages you.” The Cursed art already exists in the game files. Epic also says Gold returns on November 12, granting bonus XP from eliminating opponents, but it has not named which Sprites get Gold, so no Gold Re-Pete is listed here.
What Is Unpublished, and How to Play Around It
Neither source gives numbers. The reload speed bonus, the refund chance, how much ammo a refund returns, and how much each level improves them are all unpublished. Nothing says whether the effect differs by weapon type either.
In practice, Re-Pete helps most when you reload often, so the faster reload is the part you can count on, and the refund is a bonus that may save you a trip to an ammo box. Because both effects improve with level, it pays to level Re-Pete if you use it as a main combat Sprite. If you would rather gain something from fights in a different way, compare Halfpeel’d, which marks eliminations on the map, or Lil’ Flacko, whose landing shockwave knocks enemies back. These are different jobs, not a verified ranking.
Track Each Re-Pete Form Separately
On the free Sprite Checklist, each Re-Pete form is its own row with separate Collection and Mastery boxes. Owning Normal Re-Pete does not mark Fortune as owned, and the Cursed row shows Soon until November 7.
Leveling is also tracked in-game. The Sprite Mastery track is back under the Treasure tab in the Lobby, with a new page unlocking every week, and Sprites from this season now carry a Sprite Stamp that shows how you got them; View Info explains each Stamp. Tick a Re-Pete form on your checklist only once it is actually in your collection; a new icon in the game files is not a find.
